What’s the Dream Horse?
Thinking back to when you were a kid. Your imagining a beautiful four-legged friend in the backyard, you could run out to your horse and easily jump on and go for a ride through the fields, down a trail, or a jump, or go win a blue! These memories and daydreams, are what sparked a lifelong passion in us, as trainers and horseman, as well as all of you!
What most inspiring horsemen lack now is that confidence you once had to make the dream come true. That’s where we step in!

Our Program
Our horses here at Emerald Creek are the all-around perfect partner you have been looking for! Our horses have been selected for soundness, confirmation, personality, and trainability. Each horse is started with a great foundation on and off the saddle. As they are brought through our program they are developed into the perfect all-around versatile horse. The end result will be a soft supple horse with all the foundations and lateral movement to be a dressage horse, the trail miles to go for overnight camping trips, the ability to jump, the discipline to work a cow, the experience to drive, the patience for all levels of riders, but most importantly, the willingness to be a lifelong friend.
They have only known a kind hand and have always had the best training and care. With all of this foundation, they are hardwired to trust. With that trust, it gives their new owners, the confidence to be that kid at heart again, and live the dream!

She was born and raised here on our farm and has all the potential to be a lifelong partner. She has been handled daily since birth and has already been broke to English and western tack, crossties, lunges,roundpens, and loves to be groomed and loved on. She is out of pure bred Friesian stallion, and Premium Oldenburg mare. Impressive bloodlines going back to Sandro Hit, one of top ranked dressage stallions. Truman is a Percheron Friesian cross gelding standing about 16 hands.
He rides english, western, and drives!
He has tons of arena and trail miles and has been through our training program. Although we have put some fancy “buttons” on him he is the kind of horse that was born good and will always stay good. Leave him sit for a month and he will be the same horse every time!
In the arena Truman will have smooth comfy gaits that anybody can ride. He is soft in the bridle and moves off your leg easily for some great lateral movement with balanced transitions. He will work over ground poles and small jumps. Ride him english, western, bareback, you can throw the kids on him and he will always set up to the plate and try his hardest.
On the trail Truman as safe as they come. We will ride out alone or in a group of horses. Crosses logs, rivers, bridges and is traffic safe on the roads with cars, trucks, atvs, and dirt bikes. He will happily walk at a calm steady pace all day long and go anywhere you point him.
Truman loves to stand on the crossties to be groomed, bathed and loved on. He is so gentle, and calm enough for small children to handle. Great for vet and farrier and trailers with no issues. He is an easy keeper and gets along with other horses.
He is a horse that has a lot of heart and is ready to share it with his forever person or family.

The ultimate dream horse! Titus is a 5 year old Friesian/ Lippizaner cross stands at 16 hands. This is a once in a lifetime horse that we are proud to offer to his forever home. Titus has the talent to go In and direction and excels at everything you ask of him. In English tack he is smooth, soft, and supple with amazing movements for dressage. He will even take a jump if you ask him to. In a western saddle he has enough self carriage to hold slow smooth gaits on a loose rein. He loves the trails and will go alone or in a group of horses. We have rode him many miles at home on trails, but have also taken him to many state parks and shows and he always acclimates to new environments easily. On the trail he will go anywhere you point him and will lead or follow. He crosses logs, water and bridges.
Titus’ calmness and willingness under saddle goes hand in hand with his personality on the ground. He will stand for hours to be groomed and loved on and loves being with people. He loves doing liberty work and can bow and lay down.

Copper has three smooth gaits and can transition from collection, to loose rein to neck reining with ease. He is a very versatile guy and we can really see him going in any direction. A true gentleman!
Ranger has smooth gaits and is quiet, gentle, and forgiving while still having all the buttons! He has a great handle, he will stop, spin and side pass. Ranger has been thru our riding, groundwork and desensitization program. We will ride both western and English and is great with kids! Check out his videos!
Ranger loves to stand on the crossties for hours to be groomed and loved on. He is great in turnout with other horses, stands to be shod, and trailers well. He is great in new environments! When describing Ranger the words “confidence builder” say it best.

Wow! Beauty, brains, personality and versatility, the complete package! Meet Flicka, a 4 year old red roan standing at 13.1 hands. She is the most versatile horse we have ever had come through our program.
Flicka excels in western and English riding for arena and trails and drives like a dream! Flicka has tons of trail miles under her and will happily walk down the trail and go wherever you point her. She crosses logs, streams, bridges with confidence. In the arena Flicka has wonderful smooth gaits and transitions. She will jog and lope slow or move out for more forward movements for English riding and jumping. She has competed at local shows, trail obstacle courses, and been off property many times and rides the same as she does at home. Flicka is great with tarps, whips, and is not spooky. She will side pass to mount and lay down for you to get on and off.
She stands quietly to be groomed, bathed, loads, shod and saddled. She is quiet and gentle enough for young children to handle and a true confidence builder.

Are you looking for your forever heart horse? Reba is your girl! Standing at 16 hands she is a perfect size for any adult rider and sweet and gentle enough for a child. The “whole package horse for the family” is what we call her.
Reba is a four year old gypsy draft cross mare. Pictures do not do her beautiful mahogany colored dapple coat and mane and forelock justice.
She has beautiful smooth comfy gaits and transitions. She can hold collection or travel on a loose rein. She split reins and neck reins with ease. Reba will move off of your leg pressure for lateral movements for engaging her front and hind end. She has a fantastic brain and would excel in any discipline. She can easily transition from english to western tack, arena to the trails.
She has many miles of trail riding and loves to explore new places either alone or in a group. She will cross bridges, logs, go through water,ditches, and is safe with traffic.
She is great with other horses, children, dogs, vet, farrier, bathes, loads and ties anywhere.
She will stand for hours to be groomed, saddled, and loved on. She loves to snuggle on the cross ties after a long ride.
Reba will side pass to the mounting block, logs, rocks, very helpful you if you need to dismount and get back on in the arena or in the woods.
She loves working in the round pen with liberty work or bridleless and bareback riding.
She has been so fun to take through our program and has never questioned new things thrown her way, a true partner. Even though Reba has had a lot of training and miles, the best thing about her is her loving heart. She is truly the horse of a lifetime.
